Korean Late Night Food
Bulgogi & Udon In Bukseongro Street
When it rains or gets chilly, Daegu citizens gather at Bukseongro Street.
Bukseong Street is actually a street lined with tool stores. At night, the street is filled with the lights of food tents glowing like fireflies and they serve Bulgogi & Udon.
Buseongro Street's Bulgogi is pork seasoned with Bulgogi barbecue sauce. It is Daegu's specialty with Udon(hot noodle soup). The combination of Udon and Bulgogi is cheap so it is one of the many late night foods beloved by Daegu citizens. Koreans believe that Bulgogi and Udon go well with Suju, the Korean liquor.
Why don't you visit the street at night while traveling in Daegu?
You will experience the real Korea with the sounds of people chatting and the smell of the Korean specialties. Also it would be a great chance to try Soju. :)
*The most food tents in Bukseongro Street operate from 6pm to 3am.
